Can't find product code

I just bought the game from Steam and they are asking for a product code to register for an account

If you bought the game from STEAM try this:
Exit from STEAM, turn STEAM off.
Reopen STEAM, wait for loading process.
Now go to library, or store page press play, i think (or it start automaticaslly).
Now you can download the game. No need cdkey, because the key is kinda tieded to your email.
When the download it's finished just press play. You will see a pop up screen, insert email and password and start to play.

If all htis doesn't work and you try more than one time, especially the restart STEAM thing at this point go to the official forum

Just an FYI, although many Steam games don't require a key to play, some do. IIRC, Alice: Madness Returns and several others require you to input a key before they'll let you play.

The key should be located in your Steam library. There are two places you should be able to find it:

1. Right click on the game name in your library and you should see "View CD Key" right below "Play Game".

2. On the library detail page that shows the install/play button, news, etc. There's a "Links" section. "CD Key" is usually right under "Store Page" near the middle bottom part of the section.

If it's not in either place, try quitting and restarting Steam. If it's still not there, there's some kind of error going on that will most likely require contacting Steam Support to fix.
