Infestation: Survivor Stories Classic

Infestation: Survivor Stories Classic

This game is a unfinished product. See why and how they scam and steal!
This is an insult to every customer who respects steam. Somehow, they have snaked their way back in and I am not letting that happen.

TL;DR_Version: Bad game, bad developers, bad publisher, bad forum moderators, do not buy.

Do not believe me? Convince yourself:

"OK, they're deleteing threads on here again in order to censor information.

The War Z trademark was suspended. They copied the menu music from American Horror Story, the wallpaper images from The Walking Dead, the game from DayZ, and the name from World War Z.

The walking dead wallpaper:

Game design almost directly stolen from the Day Z mod creators:

Read this APPLICATION SERIAL NO. 85682663"

^Directly quoted from someone.^

Do what I did, create a support ticket asking STEAM to at least move this game into the greenlight section. Great games, indie games, that are really awesome and deserve their place on this platform get voted up for and are usually quickly greenlit and soon released as purchaseable versions on steam, that is why we have greenlight right? To allow "New developers" to make their debut on steam the easy way.

Yet, somehow an unpolished game that is stuck in the alpha phase is somehow allowed on to this platform with no notice to the community whatsoever.

Create a ticket and ask them to move the game to the greenlight section or to even remove it (ban it in my opinion).

From what can be read from the 'FairFight' description is that this Anti cheat engine is supposed to check on players that are suspects real time. This would mean that you could be doing exceptionally well (against usual statistics) people check/watch your actions real time with FairFight and find you not guilty of doing anything wrong.

Cheats for War Z and other games usually include wall hacks, ESP, instant death commands, noclip, nospread and norecoil. Now, these things are quite obvious to detect, especially noclip, wallhack and ESP. However, Fairfight begins to lack when it comes to "simulated wrongs". With Fairfight out, hackers have already answered against that "Anti cheat engine" by implementing some sort of "realism" to their hack. Parameters are changed and special behaviours are added to it to make even hacking players look legit! Now, even this can be looked through sometimes.

Let's take it to the game!:
Now, what happens in "War Z" is for example that you have extreme luck, let's say, you abuse the third person perspective to look over a fence, see someone is there and jump up and actually -do- happen to give him a headshot. Fairfight will look at your actions and instantly ban you in the case of "The War Z"-game. This is for some reason harshly done and can easily be abused. Almost every person who thinks that there may have been cheats involved in their deaths in the game "The war Z" uses the Fair fight command against the player who's shot them. Not only that, this has happened in great fashion by now. If someone is supposedly "Too good" on a server, people will ask in global chat to start fair
fights against that person because it is such as easily abused command.

War Z example: Someone sees someone else leave the safe zone, gets in position and kills the person. The person fair fights, returns with a different character, fair fights again and asks people on the server to fair fight person in question as well. They do that and the person gets banned, permanently without question.

What do we learn? Fair fight is too human based (even if it comes with good intentions) to be called a proper anti cheat engine. And even if some other games are using different engines, I havent seen someone get banned yet for just exceptional behaviour unlike in the war Z. In the special case of the "The war Z"-game fair fight actually does not work because fair fight relies on warnings and telling the person that ongoing cheating and exploiting will lead to harsher punishments. However, in the war Z all bans are permanent.

These "developers" have cheated their customers big time and are the most rude sort of people I have ever had the trouble to communicate with.

Fun fact, they still have pictures of the player driving vehicles on :

This feature has NEVER been in the game although was falsely advertied on the 1st release on steam.
aye agree
Let's look at what the STEAM page promises this time in this game:

"A Huge Persistent World: The War Z is an nonlinear open world game"
Wrong, I can place a wooden barricade in front of a settlement or anywhere in the world, it would be gone within 1 day.

"Combination of First-Person and Third Person Perspectives"
I am somehow convinced that this is the only thing true on the steam page. Even if these perspectives do not work properly.

"Meld of PVE (Player versus Environment) and PVP (Player versus Player)"
I am not quite sure what to say about this apart from that this is a whole big pile of bull*. There are no trees or plants that can be somehow dangerous towards me. Aka the environment. The only danger in environmental form in "The war Z" form is walking down a tiny hill and risking your life by doing so (I am not kidding, you can lose 50% of your HP in a few steps down a small hill, I am talking merely 1/4 meter).

Player versus player? More like Hacker vs Hacker.

"Safe Settlements where Players can access their global inventory"
They are not safe, hackers have the possibility to shoot in settlements.

"Create your own Clans"
If by "Creating your own clans" you mean creating some lousy group that does as well not work properly, then yes, that's part of the game.

"Reputation system – Choose to become a lawman or bandit"
You do not choose. You will always be killed if you try to play nice and if you play bad, you'll be banned for it or constantly removed from the server because shooting someone with a sniper rifle counts as hacking.

"Leave Messages for friends in the game world with a time capsule"
I have tested this feature, the time capsules are neither persistent. I have even bought them in the in game shop, left one behind on one of the servers and 3 days later it was gone. Why do I know that exactly? It was placed in the radio tower at the airport and 3 days later, it was gone.

"Immersive environment with unique and spine chilling sound effects"
These so called "Spine chilling sound effects" are just a bunch of randomized sounds that do not even fit together or fill any sort of purpose. This game would do much better without any of those weird sounds that do not fit the game. Unique? Yeah, they are unique and bad.

"Huge variation of melee and firearm weapon types"
There are 11 pistols, 1 "Crossbow" which does not work because this game lacks any sort of physics engine.

There are five shotguns of which the so called "rare ones" are found everywhere.

OH, LET ME ADD THIS: THERE USED TO BE GRENADES IN THIS GAME! But because of LACK of a proper physics engine, it was like throwing a stone at someone, except a stone would have a higher chance at killing your enemy :) (Grenades do not explode and they do no damage)

15 Assault rifles which, quite frankly only vary in slight damage differences. But you can basicly kill anyone at any range with these weapons, they are not limited unlike pistols that somehow are not able to kill anyone greater than 100 meters away.

7 Sniper rifles which basicly will get you the name "hacker" stamped on to your forehead because they let you hold your breath in a fashion that you can easily kill anyone on almost any sort of range.

9 Sub machine guns which do hardly any damage and are as well limited in range.

4 light machine guns which are loud, fast and hardly do damage.

And there are as well 13 melee weapons of which 2 are katanas for some reason, 1 is a silly "candy cane" and the giant pickaxe somehow does just as much damage as a baseball bat.

On top of that, none of them will make you think you will have it hard against zombies once you have found a hammer and it is impossible to craft any sort of melee weapon. You cannot even tear a piece of metal out of a car and try to use it as a makeshift melee weapon.

Funny, huh?

Not going to let this thread go down.
Frozen is right in everything that is said. This same is a sad state of affairs.
Updated the thread with links to evidence. Thanks for the post, Tia.
This goddamn thing has been going on for well over 2 months now, you think ANYONE would've missed it, what with it being all over the net and all?
Is it possible to slip a potato through a helicopter's rotating wings even if its so fast?

Yes it is.

Therefor, it is also possible that people may have missed this.
The problem is, that this is not the only "Finished" game. WarZ is only one of many. Valve stoped cheking their products! Dungeonland is a good example. The game came not so many dys ago and in version 1.0 it is not even close to being finished. As i can see, this is happening more often then before. This game is an example of consumerialism problem. People will buy everything, if it is "POP"

You can try and educate the masses all you want. Point is morons will be morons and buy ♥♥♥♥ over and over no matter what.
Yeah the only people buying into this game are blind purchases who find out on their own. Those people that find out the hard way then those that take warnings and research into finding facts and are smart enough to avoid it. I mean we have the entire world at our fingertips and a click of a mouse and still today people can't seem to think for themsevlfs. I call it the lazyness of technology.

Lazyness of technology, huh? I'd call it something else, but I better keep that to myself.
Keep it up.
