They raised server costs... AGAIN!!

Hello

With the release of the latest patch of The WarZ we've had a very busy and exciting week. Due to the popularity of the latest update we face an interesting decision.

Getting directly to the point, we find it necessary to raise the prices for Server Rentals.

We realize that this may not be as well received as "pie for all" but there are some very good reasons for this decision:

There is increasing and overwhelming demand for server rentals.
Our primary goal (at this time) is to provide Server Rentals for large groups and clans.
In order to meet this goal, we need to stabilize Server Rental demand.
To address this price increase for smaller groups and individuals, we are adding more free public servers, and will continue to increase to this amount over the next few weeks.
We are looking for ways to lower server costs and once this opportunity will presents itself we?ll look to adjust prices accordingly with as much advance notice as possible.

Also, the people who already have had their payed servers up the last 2 days or w/e, are taken down, lots of ppl crying that their private server is back into setup mode... maybe they are going to hold those already purchased servers ransom till the owner pays the difference of the new price??? :P Love watching them screw their fan base, and how they take it and still support them, LOVE IT!

Why wouldn't it?? there is no way to post threads in that section unless your a mod, so you can just make an account, and magically post in there. Aswell lots of people are saying they made that account so they hate wouldn't be directed at a MOD, it is to divert some of the negativity.

Also, kewk was closing down threads and linking people to that thread aswell :P sooo, its gotta be real if kewk is linking there

I don't think its so much the need to rent one as it is the implication behind the price and prince raise.

It implies that the fans will be paying that price and further more that the fans can be slapped by a raise in prices, especially so soon after actually releasing the private servers, they haven't had any real time to gauge if this is a proper increase or if what they might have going can currently be considered stable.

Basically this is a tell tale sign that they're doing this strictly out of greed rather than marketplace supply and demand principles.

I think War Z fans and Hammerpoint deserve each other. :D Notice the only time they come here is when they get punched in the face by Hammerpoint. Expecting all the haters to help them make a lot of noise. They soon as things slow down, they are back to defending their game. Let em suffer. Then deserve this. :) I applaud Hammerpoint. If they can make money off these guys, they should. :)
