Can somone Help me (Steam gifted copy of Warz)

Pretty much. I can't use the Standalone because I was given a steam gifted copy of War z (when It was available on steam). This means I didn't buy it for myself, somone bought it for me. So I'm just really not sure how I can get this to work on the standalone launcher without that access to my "account email" IE so i can reset my password, etc etc.
