not while the developers continue to work on it and people continue to play it
there still playing it over a year after release
and some said month after month that the company abandon the game and over a year later its still easily one of steams top 100 played game, around 50
so who knows what people will be playing two years from now.
And we never got refunded or any answer from support thats why me and 10 firends stoped the game.
U are not hurting them by not playing!
well no point in spending more time on a game where the support sucks donkeys butt..
and now DayZ is around so we will probly just move there
game is crap anyway..move on to day z
so perhaps some or even many will head on over to day, rust, ect
but many will also stay or even play multiple games. each is different enough.
this one is still indevelopment, they are still fixing bugs, making changes, adding new features and stuff.
so it will continue to attract sales and players. perhaps not as many as in the past when there was no competition. but the competition still has a year or more of development to do and if u head on over the the dayz/rust forum you will see even more complaints than your normally find here. here i think its pretty much settled the people who play the game are playing it. we can see that in the steam stats each and every day. and the people who are not, well they dont show up on the steam stats for this game. so while it maybe sad they are no longer playing for whatever reason the numbers dont show it... this game will most likely continue being a fun, addictive, dirt cheap b-rated game. and rust and dayz will fight it out for aaa status with much higher player count and much higher price... and who knows they still developing the game. there is no reason they cant compete at some level. and the past year has not been all that bad for just a handful of folks most major companies would not employ....
