Problem

So basically, I'm not too good at Half-Life, so I just want to play on Classic Mode, but when I get to Unforeseen Consequences, it automatically changes to Nightmare, and yes I voted to be Classic but it returns back to Nightmare, how do I even fix this?
Edit: It's Survival, I forgot the name because I didn't played Sven for long time.

"nightmare" difficulty isnt part of the game and you are most likely playing a custom server

Well I am playing on those games, I don't want to give some kind of server to my friends, I'm making my own servers to play in, since I'm not in giving IDs of them.

toggle_survival_mode or through the C command menu/bind that lets you vote to remove it
