bosses

im not very far into the game , but ive seen some forums discusing that i should run through , to platinum , or noibium? difficulty , but some of the story bosses ive enjoyed fighting , and wondered if they are repeatable? or if other bosses are repeatable?

i know that i can re-fight side mission bosses by playing in free mode , and going to the quest giver , (also , is there a way i dont have to go to free play?) , but can i do the same with story mission bosses ? or can i not refight them on that same difficulty?

You can fight story bosses in free play, they will spawn with every new free play game. You can not re-fight any bosses in campaign mode, they spawn once per difficulty. There is also a mod that adds the mini bosses to the start island Colosseum. http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/321-boss-arena/

The community patch adds a lot of new content and I recommend everyone who play s2 pc to use it. Hope this helps!
