you haven't read the page you link, I can read there : "First thing should be said:

This is a DRM Free version! No DRM of any kind. No activation needed. No stupid third party program needed like Origin or Steam. No copy protection like Securom or Starforce.

Completely DRM Free!"

That doesn't prevent you from playing with your Steam friends. All you'll need is the Community Patch, and Tunngle.

Man, I bought the Amazon download version (and was explicitly looking for steam version). Now there appears to be a steam activatible version for $5. I'm half tempted to buy it again just to have it on steam (afterall it'd boil down to the same price Steam has it for on sale now at $10).

On a side note, it does seem odd that Steam would be setting the price to $10, when amazon has the steam activatible version for $5.

The $5 deal on Amazon.com for the Steam version is really appealing. I would get it there, only I'm not in the U.S. and they won't allow "outsiders" to buy downloadable games there.
