Thats odd. It works like a charm on my Windows 8.

If you are running a secondary graphics card like an Intel HD 4000, go to Device manager and disable it. Shoul do no harm to your computer and you will be able to run Sacred 2 just fine.
I did it, so i hope it helps for you too.

runs great on my win8 64bit system. Only thing I did diferent was tell it to run in admin mode in the compatability sestings. Didn't even try it without that it might work still, I just do that on all games in case.
