Leveling question.

I have a friend that got the game on the last steam sale. I got the game on the last winter sale. We started characters on the same day andthe same time. I have multiple characters. I have one character that I keep to play when he does for a comparison, both are Dragon mages different aspects.

Now here's the odd thing. We both have 1 death. But my Dragon mage is lv 21 and his is only lv 9. Same play time, same quests done, same difficulty.
I have NO extra experience multip-liers equipper either. How come MY dragon Mage levels faster than his? I admit that I do mob enemies for AoE kills, but he says he does the same.
And before ayone asks, I did not mod any files nor am I using the community patch.

Anyone know whats up?

Is he playing on Bronze and you on Silver? It could also just be that you are killing mobs faster than him. Play time is not directly tied to level so easily here.

Both of us are on bronze.

Did you use mentor potions (the blue ones) to boost your exp gain? Do you have equipment that increases exp? The Familiar (buff) can also be modded to increase exp gain.

No to the potions and no to the exp gain on the familier.
