What? Why are these News? I thought I heard about it last Year that they are now owning the Rights on Sacred and this was before the New Gothic Announcement but later than the Titan Quest Release.

Because they didn't own the franchise; Deep Silver and Koch Media did.
And thus they owned the franchise only indirectly.

However, now THQNordic has swapped a few games with Koch Media, they are the full owners of the franchise, without another company owning it.
