Remastered Sacred 2... with the CM-Patch and S2EE from Darkmatters... a visual enhancement wouldn't be nearly enough to make me buy a remastered. A more modern approach all around with the vast world and the humor... that's what I am longing for.

Remastered Sacred 2... with the CM-Patch and S2EE from Darkmatters... a visual enhancement wouldn't be nearly enough to make me buy a remastered. A more modern approach all around with the vast world and the humor... that's what I am longing for.

Remastering first to get a good feel of the game, then a real Sacred 3!
At least that would wipe out the bad taste of that monster having the same name. ;)

Hehehe... they can't name it Sacred 3 because there is already one... but "Real Sacred 3" would be an awsome name. xD

I actually like Sacred 2 as it is , without the patch ! - The patch made my Dryad into a one-hit -kill . All she did was dying from I started - Even by a single kobold just outside Sloeford ! - at level 20 !!!!
Also, a lot of images of outfits and weapons didn`t show ( in the store, or on my character) - just a nothing with description . On the other hand, my High Elf was suddenly almost impossible to kill - which was fun for a while .
Areas and dungeons was suddenly without monsters - and then they were suddenly all there ! AAAHHH !!! I gave up, removed the patch , and now the Dryad is as awesome as ever.
And the game is a s awesome as ever - the only thing I miss is the option to use a controller ,and to be able to take screenshots the usual Steam way. The Steam option to add a controller does not work on this game.
So a little makeover wouldn`t hurt, but imho; not too much.

Hoping for a true Sacred 3 - That Would Be Awesome !

Did you start a new character? It is written in the notes that you shouldn't play with already existing characters. Such bugs never happened to me. O___O

Hi Roderick - your doing I am hooked on ths game again - Thank you, I love it !

Yes, I started a new character(s). Of course . And then I started some new characters again .
Maybe the patch makers adjusted the other characters to the patch, but forgot about the Dryad She was more playable on Silver than Bronze, actually - but she still died and died , so she wasn`t fun to play any more.
But I have no trouble playing without the patch ,
( I used Letozeth`s guide to fixes and start crashes - here on Steam, if anyone should need it ) ,
so it isn`t an issue .

You can play via controller but you have to start Steam as Admin.. or the controller wont work usualy. Works in most cases, goes for other old games too

Im really hyped now.. i hope they will do something with it.. remastered Sacred 1 or 2. Or a real Sacred 3 made with love!
Would even appreciate support for the actual Sacred 2 with some (a lot of) bug fixes and maybe a archievments or another dlc

Steam achievements - Awesome if ! And cards and backgrounds !

- Roderick , no problem ; I`m getting really good with keyboard and mouse - Never thaught I would
( For those who should wonder - I used to play S2 on PS3, so getting used to the PC keyboard and mouse controls took some time and effort for me. )

did you test it out talana? with the cm patch you should be able to play via controller if u start steam as admin
