FOV please!
Game runs beautifully on my system after I disabled Vsync, but his FOV is just making me sick. It's ruining the whole game. Give us FOV options (up to 90 or above) please!!

+1 We need FOV adjustment ASAP.

The game is extremely uncomfortable -even illness inducing- to play in this confounding telescopic view. The players default camera position is what I would imagine a zoomed-in over the shoulder shooting view to look like when you hold a zoom button to precision fire.

Mad Max and Just Cause 2 either had the feature or allowed it to be edited manually in the game files for Avalanche engine. I am surprised this wouldn't have come up during testing.

(Also, vehicle handling: have any of the dev team tried steering vehicles on PC? Is that really how all of you folks like it to be?)

Yes, please fix the FOV. I tried the fix from JC2 and it didn't work. Its not possible to play any length of time with this FOV without getting ill - for those affected by this which is quite a bit more than people might think.

Yep, we have large monitors and sitting directly in front. So we also need an appropriate wide angle. A FOV 90 -110 about would be good.

IMO, this is the single most important issue that needs to be addressed. I don't have any negative physical reactions to narrow FOV or anything like that, but I find it simply annoying, even kind of claustrophobic, particularly when driving a vehicle, and the problem is worse in the larger vehicles.

+1 Implement FOV slider/setting ASAP!

Is there any news about a FOV slider?

I'm gonna need an fov fix for this.
I literally can't play more than about 10 minutes without being ill, it's ruined the entire game for me.
I'll take a proper option for it in the menus, a community fix or just a plain old ini tweak... anything really.

But it's just not possible for me to play this game with an fov designed for viewing from 15 feet away from the screen when I'm sat 1 foot away.

+1 Petra should flag this to the devs. Enough people have asked for it.

I'd just be happy with the ability to back the camera off some when in a vehicle...
Like in at least GTA 4 and 5, Watchdogs, Saint's Row 3 & 4, etc, where you have 2 or 3 'notches' back that you can go, plus of course alternate views would be welcome as well.

At any rate, I find the FOV acceptable (though not ideal) for most of the game, but just way too narrow and close when driving land vehicles.

I just swapped to my secondary monitor to see what the game would look like. 5 minutes in I had to quit and restart on my main monitor because I got such a damn headache from the FOV. 30 minutes later and I still have a headache in my eyes.

I think the field of view is perhaps 80 if you fly around. But if you can walk on the floor, it zooms in a FOV of 60 or lower. And that's too narrow.
