Typo in the config.ini
Has anyone else noticed this in the config? I found mine to have "Resolution" spelled wrong on this line: https://imgur.com/a/oVLGRF6

Fixing the misspelling gave me a performance boost from what I can tell.

Edit: Also linking to Sononeo's suggestion. This gave me a very nice boost as well, but make sure to watch your temps. It made my processor temp jump significantly (50C to 70C).

Edit 2: Fixing the typo is breaking the setting, as Sarbian has posted. So if you think this may help you with various issues, you can just delete that whole "MinimumStreamingTextureResolution" line and the game still runs.

ParallelBuildProcessorCount=16
RenderWorkerThreadPriorityAboveNormal=Enable

First was at 8 before and second was false. On Intel so maybe some threading oddities going on, but there is a big jump with a 13900k and RTX 3090 to being nearer to 60 most of the time, with DLSS set to Quality.

It's a placebo

it didn't redo for me? It's fixed still.

I didn't notice any difference. But this is probably a much bigger issue for people running the high res texture pack.

in notepad do ctrl+F and type " resoltuion "
even if u dont notice a difference in performance, do u guys notice a difference like a reduction of texture pop-ins? the original typo in question seems related to texture streaming so if we can consider it was broken (since i do notice a lot of videos with visible texture pop in on scene changes) it might look a lot better now.

if we can confirm this fixed texture streaming we can also consider its the reason for the massive gpu spikes when rotating the camera

all this does is make the textures look way worse as they aren't using the proper resolution anymore, just because the code is spelled wrong doesn't mean the code isn't working.

Can confirm, textures have definitely been MUCH better for me. Last night in the oilspill area I barely had any of the rock textures fully loading in. Now, my memory usage has gone down in my settings, and staying on High textures has all of them loading in even if its delayed by about 2 secs.

Also, have 3 friends who changed this misspelling and they all had around 10-20+ FPS boosts even if their textures didn't have a huge change like mine did.

wow thats actually massive news, and at the same time crazy they didnt catch this before release lol. i swear ever since games became 10 dollars more expensive, the quality control has been completely canned

Anyone friends with any of tech journos, to see if they are willing to run some test batteries to see if it's a placebo or something that has a measurable effect?
performance is quiet better
No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way bruh... you gotta be kidding me
This actually improved my FPS by 20~. Until changing this I had never touched 3 digit FPS, now I'm at 110 and its fairly stable at least in the hub. Good eye, hilarious if this is part of a major problem by Capcom.

now lets find how to help with texture load and unload everytime you turn your camera !!!
