I Want a REFUND!!!!!

Why because Ive had this game for 3 weeks now and i havnt been able to play because of "Patch Error : Please try again later" ive looked for ways to fix it that doent work i try redownloading it nothing im FED up with this crap. So i want a F ing REFUND!

Find the Steam executable and the Defiance executables in their folders in your C drive and right click them select properties and choose Run as Administrater option. Make sure you do this with both. If you get an error with the Steam executable just go ahead, its fine. I had problems running Defiance and this worked for me.

they said the new "patch" ficed the issue but you may need to delete the local cache and redowmload one time.

Contact steam and or trion for a refund though it may be futile. Honestly if you go to the official forums and see the massive issues of lag, disconnects, false statements about content for the dlcs, and the above connecting issues, you're better off getting your money back and steering others clear of it.

Try wiping the game off your drive and downloading from Trion's site. You can then move the game over into your Steam folder if you want.

Make sure your register your keycode on defieance website. thats what I had to do

That is for a different error my problem is when the game is updating then 30min later it gives me "Patch Error. Please try again later"

Do a search with Google. This has been a problem for others and there are plenty of solutions out there. Or you could just quit and not try to fix it.
