NOTICE from OGPlanet: UWO Migrating to OGPlanet

Hello Steam community!

GM Dreamer from OGPlanet here.

As you may be aware, Netmarble's UWO service is scheduled to end on the end of November, 2013 and all user database will be transferred to OGPlanet. Unfortunately, you won't be able to play UWO on Steam either after the transition.

Please log in to your Netmarble account and be sure that your characters and items show up correctly. http://uwo.netmarble.com/

If you don't remember your ID and/or PW, contact Netmarble for assistance. Remember that you will only be able to retrieve your existing username and password through Netmarble.

It's also a good idea to sign up at OGPlanet now, as you will need a new account to transfer your characters when the transition takes place.

Yes, there will be an anti-cheat software implemented.
All our servers are located in US.

We'll be using a similar service called Netsession to distribute the game client.
There will be other mirror links as well if you prefer other options.
However, after November 25, you will no longer be able to play UWO on Steam. Don't forget to transfer your account now.

Hi I tried to transfer but the link would not work, so if i have my user name and password when the new sever starts up will i still be able two transfer my account ?

HI, I always get an error when trying to transfer my Stream account to OGPlanet. Where my account created via NetMarble do not have problem transferring.
Anyone can help? My Stream account is a lvl 53 trader.....

Were you using steam with your netmarble account or did you have two seperate accounts with different characters?

Initally I used Steam to login UWO. Then after i reformatted my system, i login direct via Netmarble using my Steam ID.

There was a link on the Steam UWO launcher a week or so ago that let you link your account, I could never get my launcher to actually show properly so I'm not sure if its still available for Steam accounts.

According to GM Dreamer, transfers would not be available after Nov. 25, but according to NetMarble transfers were to start after Nov. 28.. so I'm uncertain, there were too many conflicting statements.

Yeah, and if you forgot your password like me, Netmarble website's account system is pretty dead at this moment, something related to account, like 'forgot password' is no works xD

indeed, after a while i was pretty much looking forward to play UWO and now my progress i build up in a year is gone? grmbl
netmarble account is dead, i do have my accountname, yet no password (since i launched it from steam)
to bad...
