Fallout: New Vegas

Fallout: New Vegas

Any perk rate slash skill-point mods?
Specifically, that makes both reach the levels they were at in Fallout 3?

Please, no screams of 'ZOMG, OP!' I realize s/he got shot in the head, but the curier just feels frustratingly weak to me, and I'd like to fix that in my own single-playet campaign.

I've found a mod for the perk rate, but not for skill-points. (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34707/?)

Help?

Just use Project Nevada. It has an option under the Rebalance module where you can adjust the skill points/level.

Eh, those cyberware bits sounds mighty tempting, but I'm not in the mood for those bits about 'added realism.'

I assosiate Fallout with many things, most of them fun or exiting... but realism isn't on that list.

Still, thanks for the tip; might just be worth a try the next time trough.
PN is modular, so you can actually decide which parts to install. Cyberware can be skipped, for example. The Core adds a few things like grenade hotkey, sprint and bullet time, but they can be switched off. Rebalance is just a huge GUI to modify the hidden in-game options (spawn timer, loot chances, stats progression and so on).
Oh, now that changes things quite a bit. Always nice to have options.

I'll give it a try then, but really weird they don't say that on the page. Perhaps I just missed it.
PN can be customized anyway you like really, and tells you the vanilla values as well so you can adjust up or down to your liking

Don't know why you'd need a mod for skill points. You can easily have all skills maxed by ~lvl 40.

Just prefered the way it was done in #3.

I know one more point instead of two per Int may sound petty, but for me it made Int feel like a far better 'investment.' Both mechanics and for the sake of roleplay wise.
