Whats the best graphics overhaul for nv?

I needs to able to be downloaded on nexus mod manager.

You don't need to download a mod through nexus mod manager to use the mod manager to install by the way. You can download it then use the mod manager to install it regularly.

But no I don't know cus I'm not a pleb that uses graphic overhauls.

You can head over to the Nexus and DL teh top rated texture mods then grab a ENB. The combination makes a HUGE difference but the ENB has to be manually installed. Vanilla graphics make me want to vomit. Be sure to get texture mods for the little things, too, like body features for NPCs, weather and lighting, etc.

There are no "best" ones, since it is about visuals, so it is 100% subjective. Just browse the graphics section of the Nexus and grab what you think looks nice.

It's not remotely completely subjective as many folks have agreed upon and voted for teh best visual mods putting them in the Top Files at teh Nexus, therefor, making a standard.

Rudy ENB. Not an overhaul by definition but it makes a huge difference visually.

Not quite. Top Files are the most downloaded ones, and they are the most downloaded ones because they are in the top files. It is a circular logic. This is why you can see outdated or replaced mods in the top files, because their presence there keeps them in the circulation even after they were discontinued. Most of the Top Files are only there because they are so old that they raked up the download count, sometimes even overshadowing much better alternatives.

They are teh best voted. not downloaded, unless you specifically filter by total download (if that's even possible.) An example, FOMM has more DL's than PN, but PN is voted more so it's first ranked.

However, mods being overshadowed is a big problem, you're right. Only way I have found to deal with that is to go by personal recommendations. Watch youtube vids of fav mods, ask in the forums, etc.

I'd suggest ReShade over ENB. It's not as good looking as ENB, but you won't get screen flickering when opening pipboy/menus, trasparency issues, water issues and nightvision not working. It's also far less performance intensive.

One downside of using ReShade is that it also affects HUD elements.

Check both out and then decide.
