So is this game now released?

Remember watching quite a few videos of this game while it was still @ pre-alpha or alpha. While it looked like it was becoming a cool game it was still very rough and looked like it would still be in development quite a while. To my surprise it seems like it's already released on Steam quite a while without me noticing and doesn't come as early access game.

So is this game now fully done and released or is there more to come?

It's about as done as it's going to get. I wouldn't hold out hope for more. You can tell that the developers took a lot of pride in what they'd accomplished, but in their pursuit of digressions, they left the core of the game simple and meaningless. The dialogue is funny, the voice acting is decent (IMO) (compared to Mars War Logs, Miner Wars is AAA actors), the music is original and unannoying, the controls are slick, the sector 'object structures' are interesting looking, but there's no real reason to exist within the game, other than to follow the seemingly random story. There's no depth.

After finishing the campaign there's about 20 unexplored sectors left over. Some have (unexplained) missions, some don't have anything. Some have 'treasure' to mine, but Fort Valiant has more of that than I can fit in my ship, but I'm not patient enough to sit there mining it (it would take about an hour to fill the cargo bay). I have about 12 sectors left to explore, but don't know if I'm going to bother.
