Level Geometry Blinks
Level Geometry keeps blinking on and off, why does it do this? Why can't I look at something and have it stay stable? It feels like I'm in some sort of strange artistic indie experiment about the perceptions of reality because level geometry keeps disappearing and reappearing unless I'm super close to it.

P.S. I really wanna like this game, I want to like it a whole lot, but this annoyance stops me. I'm on an Nvidia GTX 260, Intel Q9550 4GB Ram, Please just send some help over on this thing. If there's a secret advanced panel I'll be greatful for that too.

Sorry for the troubles, it seems to be a driver issue (we can't reproduce it on any computer we have at the office)

1) Could you please update your NVIDIA drivers?

2) Can you go to Video Options (in game) and set Render Quality to "Very Ugly". Will it help?

3) If that won't help, could you please send us your log file? Here's where to find it and where to send it: http://www.minerwars.com/Troubleshooting.aspx

4) Is it possible to make a screenshot? Or video?

Please let me know if any of above helped. Thanks.

Here, a few shots, I didn't try very ugly just yet, but my NVIDIA drivers are updated before I did this, even the pipe blinked by the way. I wish I could get video.

I really really wanna like this game. I mean it seems like it's my game, but that blinking geometry kinda kills it for me :(
You guys seem a little spotty on how you reply. This is a duplicate of what i posted earlier. Here is a video if it will help.
I am also running the most current nvidia drivers and have played with vsync but not other graphics settings. This issue was not present in your last version for me before the switch. If you'd like my logs to I can send them but I took a look and there was nothing in there to indicate a error that I could see. Looked like routine open/close logging.

Thanks for the screens and video - now we at least know what is happening. Unfortunately we still don't have a clue what's behind.

Could you send us log file? http://www.minerwars.com/Troubleshooting.aspx
Sent. One point of commonality that if you haven't already you might wanna rule out is that both myself and the OP are running 200 series GPU's. If none of your dev machines is running a 200 series might be worth looking into.
Marek Rosa  [developer] Mar 12, 2013 @ 1:10pm
Yeah, we don't have 200 series here.

dont forget to report to nvidia

Hi, could you please send the log again support@minerwars.com ? Also please include link to this forum and your steam name so I know it's from you. I get a lot of e-mail and I did not manage to find the one from you. Thank you.

Sent another one. Tried to tag the e-mail as well as I could to stand out as pertaining to this thread.

i also suspect the drivers. Drivers settings to be exact. Can you try to default them in your nvida control panel and select "use application 3d settings" on the main 3d settings tab? And let me know if there is any difference pls?
Scot.Dos Mar 13, 2013 @ 5:20pm
Driver settings are default. I hate to say anything bad, but it seems odd that out of the literally 100s of games I've played (likely over 300) this one indie game is the one that has this unique problem.

Yeah it is strange indeed.
My bad, i didn`t notice the comment about no issue from before the game update. I`m no IT guru but it does look like game/software related issue and not the pc settings.

Guys do you have SLI enabled? Or any unusual/high-end hardware, configuration setting you are aware of? 3D Vision?
Scot.Dos Mar 14, 2013 @ 8:01am
Nope, just a single card, no 3d vision. This hardware is nothing super high end, it's quite old if I have a Q9550, but the thing lasted quite a while.
