Ladder crash fix/patch

Hello!
One of ugliest bug in the game is crash on ladder in Prologue chapter. Many gamers said they have problems with this bug on Windows x64. Me too.
I want to help game community so I tried to fix this bug. You can find my fix here: Press[drive.google.com]. Just unzip file to Engine folder in main game folder (you will see file with same name in Engine folder).
I checked it on PCs with Nvidia and ATI video cards and it works.
Fix is situated in common procedure so it has possibility to fix another story crashes too.

Thanks for sharing. I found another way to get around this crash was to simply climb into the ladder, and rather than go all the way down, try "jumping" off the lader and landing as close to the stairs leading down as possible. This circumvents a trigger of some kind for police to come looking for you in the house.

Yeah, I used it too (in about 20th try), but then decided to create my own patch

this is awful, had fine fps before i applied this patch, this patch made my sensitivy way too high and lowered my fps, terrible patch

Don't bother downloading any patches. Capping the framerate at 60 worked fine for me, no patch needed.

You'd still need to use a patch (not the one linked though) for the Blue light bug so probably easier to use a patch for both.
