Sea Dogs: To Each His Own vs City of Abandon Ships
To Each His Own is on Steam and City of Abandon Ships is on GOG. Has anybody played both? I would like to try one of them. Any opinions on which is better?

From the little bit I've played of COAS, I preferred TEHO because of the main story quests. That doesn't mean you can't get that immersion in COAS, but it isn't forced onto you. I believe COAS allows the player to have more freedom, but TEHO personally appealed to me more. However, the quests from TEHO can throw lots of difficulty at you, but COAS let's you pace yourself better

Also, these games can be incredibly difficult to get used to. Once you play one of them, you get the gist of how to play the others. I played Sea Dogs 2 (pirates of the Caribbean) before I played TEHO, and that helped me understand the game mechanics really well, giving me an edge.

i loved CoAS, the storyline was good, i havent been able to complete it yet cuz im stuck in Abandoned Ships where u have to listen to the conversation @ midnight between two guys and u have to be hidden from sight, well im always spotted. plus my desktop computer where i have CoAS (GOF gentlemen of fortune as its now called) is down, my monitor crashed and ive not been able to replace it yet to play, but i LOVED COAS!!!!!
