it is nice to see how akela connected all the ties to city of abandond ships and the black pearl
which were great games , but still it is a pitty that instead of inventing something new they are re-using thier former games including the soroundings maps and the cinematic parts ..i wish they will create realy new game ...but non the less i still enjoy playing this game

There's a few references to PoTC in this game. I've personally only found 2 of them, but i'm sure there are more

It's like all the movies and tv shows set in San Francisco. People usually don't complain. :) TEHO uses the same setting as COAS did, but they added a lot of stuff. The two games really don't compare.

You do realize that TEHO was made by a small team of modders, right? Not much budget for new cinematics.

Gibbz would be the 1st I 'found'. The 2nd are the 3 hanging skeletons at Port Royale, there's even the sign saying "pirates beware". I couldn't help but smile and be hit with nostalgia. :D

I am ofcourse talking about the movies. It's certainly nice to see characters returning from past games, but I haven't found anything related to Sea Dogs 2 aside from that.

Speaking of wich. Was Jessica Rose in Sea Dogs 2? I always had someone helping me back then as I was but a kid, but I think i remember a certain redhead from that game.

i hope that Akela , will gain some money from this game thus enable them to create new game , when i saw the cinematic of black pearl in regards to Nethaniel story, the nostalgic stream hit me as well ...by the way beside "sid mayer pirates" ' assasins creed black sails" - do you have recomendation for good pirates game ? i also have "blood an gore" wich is nice but there isnt much story so i lost intrest...i wish there where some kind of elder scroll in pirates world that might be nice espacialy when beteshda and akela already work together ... i truly wish .. :)
