I LOVE the controller support!
The fact that I could map out the buttons for my controller gave the devs a place in my heart.
I don't own a xbox controller (prefer the PS layout) or PS3 one, I got a generic Saitek that usually gives me controls that are weird (start on R2 för example). And the fact that I could set my own controls in a new game makes me glad!
More than tired of the console ports that give you no freedom at all in any settings!

That's pretty awesome. As someone who bought a 360 controller maybe eight years ago strictly so I could play console ports properly on my PC, I long forgot how much of a pain in the ass it was to fight with drivers / remapping with JoytoKey or Xpadder

I'm playing with a PS3 controller using MotioninJoy. It lets you remap buttons as you want and also allows you to make games think you're using a 360 controller. It's helpful since a lot of lazy devs only add 360 controller support.

PS2 with USB adapter works. I tried it but decided to stick with the kb.

I use Xpadder for games that don't have built in support. NOTHING beats controller support being built in!

Why the hell in this day and age can't every game have built in controller support?

FFS i was playing PC games with my Microsoft Sidewinder game pad 15 years ago!!

I love my Xbox 360 PC wireless controller.:B1:

The controller support indeed is great. I have a Logitech Rumblepad (PS3 layout) and it works brilliantly. I cannot really imagine playing a platformer with the keyboard...

Just use X360ce for any gamepad. Just put the X360ce app in you main game folder where the main game .exe file is located. Run the X360ce app and it will autmatically find the right profile off the net for any game to work the best with your gamepad. Then just save the results (no editing anything required) and close the app. Then start your game and it should work. And you never have to run the program again for that game. Just once and your settings are saved. No need to run the program in the background either. It's a very nice program and saves you money if you just want to buy a cheap gamepad but want to have X360 functionality. It has rumblepad support as well for those with rumblepads controllers. Best of all - It's 100% free.
