Linux Version Statement.

Hey everyone.

As there is 3 posts about linux for Giana Sisters and our stand alone rise of the owlverlord, the community asked for a sticky about the subject with all info gathered.

So here we go.

A linux version is 100% coming during 2015, we did outsource this to another company as we are busy with Dieselstormers at the office, so we do not have a ETA yet. I will post as soon as I have a date ofc.

So please show us the same patience you have so far and you will get linux support for Giana SIster and get to enjoy our game.

Honestly, I´ve forgotten to ask about that, I will do that first thing tomorrow morning so we can get a update on the MAC version for you guys aswell.

Thank you for the info BFG Zyddie. Do you know if the company that ports it will use a wrapper (like wine or eON) or port it natively?

Hey Coeseta.

At this very moment I do not have a lot more infomation, hoping to get during this and next week a lot more to update this post. There are some questions that I know the community would love to get answered that I´m trying to figure out, but my bosses is very stressed with the new release here the 17th of July so might take a bit time to get a responds and get the answers.

Just wanted to make sure that this won't be another witcher 2 debacle :P

Also I have read another post from you, just for the correctness. Unix is not Linux, Linux was coded from the scratch and is just Unix like ;)

I´m aware of that xD just too tired to correct myself sometimes >< Been awake for way way to long, these sales are gonna kill me someday. Tho thanks a ton for the correction ^^ Have to remind myself sometimes to sleep ^^

Yes I´m not at the home office tho, I live in Sweden and work from here. Part of the reason to why I´m online and able to answer everyone so fast. But yes home office is in Germany.
