Keyboard not working
I had been modding Morrowind using Mod Organizer 2, when my keyboard stopped working in-game. If I alt-tabbed to another window, the keyboard worked fine. But in-game I could not use the keyboard for any controls nor could I use it in the options menu to change my keybinds.

I uninstalled the game and deleted my Morrowind folder and then re-installed the game, and the problem persisted so I don't think it's related to any of my mods. I had searched this problem on Google and none of the solutions I found worked.

I had tried changing the audio sliders, and it had no effect.
I had enabled the background keyboard option in Morrowind.ini with no effect
I had uninstalled and reinstalled so verifying game files is not applicable
After reinstalled I ran the game through Steam (so no mods) and had the same issue

Are there any other suggestions for what I could try?

A few things that can cause this to happen.
Steam overlay - try disabling it.
Any other input or bluetooth devices connected - might be a conflict.
Other programs, especially game overlays i.e fraps, Raptr.
Keyboard language setting - Use run - "intl.cpl" - ensure keyboard is set to same language as Steam and Morrowind.

That is all I could find and /or think of.

Couple things to try out:

1.Disable Steam Overlay.

OR/ AND

2.Go to your Morrowind folder, and look for Morrowind.ini. There is a line called "Background Keyboard". Change it from 0 to 1.

Let me know if this fixes (or doesn't fix) the problem.
