How to increase difficulty?

Began playing on Hardened difficulty, but by the looks of it, I could vamp it up, to prevent boredom settling in. But I can't find the option to increase difficulty. Where and how?

Im not remember if you can increase difficulty during the game but. before start game you can select game overall difficult but, you have to start over then.
