Should I start with Fallout 3, New Vegas or Fallout 4?

Anytime I open the game, it goes fine, that is, until, i try to start a new game, which is when it crashes immediately. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Does this game actually work of the vanilla steam port or do I need to download four mods to get it to even play without crashing like new vegas

Earlier in the year folk spotted beta updates for this, so speculations were happening it's finally an update to clean up this absolute messy state of the game on steam and make it finally work decently out of the box with also Steam Integration like achievements and what not, yet the anniversary happened and the show popped up yet nothing for FO3. It might not be among the stronger Fallout games but it still is a heck a lot of better than 4 and 76 ,since it still feels like an RPG and a Fallout game. I ...
