It's EA after all.
I mean it's pretty cheap. I get your point, the option to buy them individually should exist, but there might be a reason why it's packaged all together and as long as they are all that cheap and they run alright I don't see much harm even if I'll probably never play some of the games in that collection.
Generals, possibly renegade, and possibly Tib 4 given all I've heard about it. I just wanted the ones that weren't here already that I enjoyed when I was a teenager.

I prefer quality over quantity, so I'm not a fan of collecting a bunch of games I'll never play. I'd rather pay $3 for the one I was interested in ^^ hehe.

makes sense but would ya pay 10 bucks for the game you want?
Honestly, I just bought the bundle for Tiberian Sun.
it's 10 dollars.

If you have other titles part of the bundle it's even cheaper. I only paid $5 for my bundle and was the other half half of the games added.

It was $5 on Origin on some point. If it is a big deal, just wait for a real sale and buy the entire collection for $5.

One of the product managers for C&C actually posted something on Reddit that kind of explains this. EA (management?) had decided to put a bunch of older games on Steam, so they basically internally lobbied management to let them take the collection bundle that was sold as a disc or on Origin and sell it as a product on here. Minimal amount of work to let people play the games on Steam and without EA's bad DRM.

My guess is that they weren't given more than, like, 1 or 2 peoples' time to get everything in working order for Steam with a very tight deadline and that this is really the best they could do; break it up into different games with the same product 'collection' just like how its distributed on the EA store.

So tl;dr blame EA management.

You can buy them individually, you just need to add it to your cart through SteamDB.
Go here: https://steamdb.info/sub/799317/ and install the browser extension, then click "add to cart", go into your steam client and it will show "there was a problem displaying this item", but the price is correct. Click continue to payment and it will show the image of what game you added.

What the ♥♥♥♥ is this?
No flak on you, you're just giving info. But why does this have to exist?
I am not getting some extension and fiddle around with shady stuff just to buy a product.

Again, no flak on you. I blame the system here. Ty for the info.
