Planes not reacting to the evac order

I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if someone else has this problem, when where you call in planes and they are not reacting at all to the evac buttom no matter the situation, the only time they do evac manually is when you have pre-designated that order before you call in the plane(Target and then shift-click the evac).

Is it Stunned from enemy AAA/Aircraft cannon fire?

Infact that might be, because I am not all too familiar with the game mechanics. But good to know.

Check that, I just played a match where my F-15 flew in circles over my teritory until a Mig-31 shot it down. After I evaced it at least 2 min earlier.

I had this happen to 3 skyhawks.

What happened was I told it to attack a spot that just got napalmed and this stopped the airstrike

those planes....i had 9 of them in the beginning of the game sent 3 of them on a bombing mission and you know what? a minute later all 9 are dead most of the time i have them do their bombing run then tell them to turn away so they dont fly straight into enemy territory and get shot down like they always do so many points lost to planes being destroyed
