Edit: Okay I'm at the flashback where Penny meets Gib and he says "the human girl should move back from the ledge" just so you know if this isn't a design choice.
Edit: Just got to the flash back where Penny talks about parents - mom says "take care of her for me"
Again all of this is chill if its the design choice, but if not I figured you'd want to know.
Great report! The line number and details help a bunch. I'll slate this to go out with the next patch.
Meanwhile, can you click "Ignore" and continue the caper, or are you just deadlocked?
Also encountered a pronoun mismatch, in Hate4000's storyline you have the line "But leaving /his/ hideout more often is a positive step," should be 'their' presumably.
There was a bug which prevented "Long Live the King" from unlocking, which in turn prevented "Master Thief." I patched it so it'll auto-grant Long Live the King when you start the game, but for Master Thief to grant you'll need to re-play any normal caper first.
Well, I got it. I'm not sure what happened there. I played through multiple normal capers after getting Long Live The King: I hadn't done Farsight's timeline yet, so I didn't want to skip them. And I had Long Live The King trigger, so I thought I was good. But that hadn't triggered Master Thief.
But I just booted up the game again, ran through a caper... and this time it triggered? It was the same one I did after getting King in Yellow: Monumental Proportions. I'm confused, but... hey, just in case this is a thing, I figure I should share.
It won't be an issue moving forward now that it's fixed -- game should do what it was meant to do for anyone playing now on.
I don't know what exactly causes this issue, just that I've run into it when I'm skipping text by pressing the CTRL key. Hope that helps.
edit, yea look like it happens with all the marks you talk to .
You can click Ignore anytime this pops up for now.
dialogue the bug appears on is "Oh! Well. Step into my office, then. Show me where it hurts."
