Sigh, I hope at least the arranged soundtrack and bonus videos from the PS2 version gets included back in, if not the 3D backgrounds.

No one cares about that. Seriously. No one cares. I'd rather the devs make absolutely certain that the game works correctly without bugs, is accurate to the UMFE edition without any weird changes, and have darn good netcode.

No one cares about bonus video or 3D backgrounds.

Sorry, but I expect the game to be working correctly regardless of what the ship date is. If the release delay is to improve the netcode or add back some stuff from the PS2 release, that's great. But it shouldn't need its release date postponed a day before actual release due to crippling bugs that ought to have been squashed way earlier.

Puff, not that I care waiting a few days. It is just that that is a very very bad sign. They are not going to fix the netcode in 6 days, but if a game is so delayed they have to have some pretty bad bugs going on. I mean, REFUND BUGS.

My weekend ruined.

Sucks that it had to happen, but I know what development processes can be like. Commence a whole lot of whining in this thread from people who can't wait a few more days.

GG Xrd is a new PS4/3 game, this is a re-release on PC. those don't overlap.

LV: thanks for the notice.

I hope you read this: the fact that casual people and others will still buy this game without rollback netcode doesn't mean that the fact that you guys are not taking the necessary efforts to implement FOREVER AND IN ALL FUTURE RELEASES rollback netcode isn't already draining blood from your playerbase and thus, your potential customers.

You know how important mouth-to-mouth publicity is for a product/company (I work for a game company as well so I know where I'm coming from). And SNKP's right now is: "no rollback netcode" in an era where input delay is already much more easily put aside by it than with other types of netcode. Having a cross-continent playable fighting game is the only way to form solid online communities, and the only way is by using rollback netcode.

I really hope to see you guys play it with GGPO or whatever other netcode starting from KOF XIV but ROLLBACK please. Otherwise you'll bleed off the fame from past ages from your classic fans, and new fans won't be enticed either...
