game doesnt even load past the splash screen before crashing completely. what a complete pile of ♥♥♥♥. who ever coded this should be taken out back and shot, then beat with a rubber hose before getting fed to pigs.

Ryzen 5 2600 + RTX 3060 12GB and no crashes here, doesn't seem to be a AMD CPUs issue. I have friends crashing on Intels, i've got no idea what causes crashes in this game anymore lol it seems extremely random.

Ryzen 7 5700X + RTX 3060Ti + 32Gb RAM and after 10 hours, the game crashes over and over.

Crashes ruined experience for me, it wasn't like this at launch.
How can you let this slip under the rag for years it's insane.

0 interest from Devs to fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Just tried the free weekend to see if I get the crashes too like everyone says but I have to knock on wood, no crashes so far for about 6 hours.... 5900x, 3080Ti, 32GB RAM... I noticed that the game utilizes more than 16 gigs of RAM and around 10GB of VRAM...might be that some people not having enough of either are pushing it over the edge and the engine, instead of just slowing down, simply crashes?

10GB+ of VRAM only if using QHD or 4k resolutions. At 1080p with everything maxed out, it consumes 6Gbof VRAM max.

That's right, running it on QHD, but those that have crashes usually don't mention the resolution they play in, so it might as well be QHD on 6 or 8GB GPU, and this might be the source of the problems.

It is possible that there are more reasons for the game crashing, yours not being the lack of VRAM. From all the people's posts I have seen it seems completely random, so it might be anything.
lucky streak over, got my first crash LOL.
