Stops responding on loading screen

Just bought puddle and make it to the main menu fine. when i click start after typing in my name, it just freezes on the loading screen. Allowed exception through firewall and cleared all temporary files, and validated in steam. Any help?

windows 7 64 bit, 8 gb ddr3, nvidia 9800m 1gb
