OH MY GOD I FOUND AN NPC
I was recently replaying the Stanley Parable to scout for some more things, so at the primary ending I turned on the mind control instead of turning it off. I died, but then when I respawned, I went past employee 425'S DOOR WHEN I TURNED AROUND AND SAW AN NPC WALKING BEHIND THE DOOR BEHIND 425'S DOOR AND IN THE HALLWAY!!

This isn't a joke, I swear to everything I own, I saw an NPC walk in the doorway.

Is it really that scary? I have just played the demo and found this... well... twisted and funny. Is the full game really... scary?... Or is it just because of this/those NPC's?

The game isn't scary, it just feels eerie and weird since you don't meet anyone through the entire game.

It's scary if you have a fear of being alone... WHICH I DO. Damit

The first time I got the NPC, the narrator had said something different for the first section. Musing on whether this was the right office or not, and that he thought it might be Stanley's. Any correlation between the narration and the NPC appearing, or was that a fluke?

The narrator says different things depending on how many times you started the game from the start in the session.

Thanks a lot! I love those kind of games, but only those who aren't scary (or not a lot) like Gone Home.^^
So, it's just like the demo, with an unknown NPC... But is it Stanley or employee number 432 I've heard about countless times?... Guess I'll give it a try!

Once again, thank you very much Trixil, Englishjodes, Hutch and SeriousCat !!!

The game is a stunningly superb piece of art, and I rate it 10/10.

Yea. It scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me because I never expected nor saw an NPC in the game.

I didn't see him once and I'm at a final ending I think... This is the sixteenth or seventeenth time it restarted and it doesn't do it anymore after I was killed by a strange machine... nevermind that.
Does anyone knows how to be sure to see the NPC?

You can naver be sure sadly.
But looking for something else, i found out that there must this dude and well, i started restarting the game and every time the Narrator said somethign out of the normal (and of course you have to spawn in normal office) I ran to the next room checking the 425's window.
Many people said that they saw him after the Narrotor sad that "Someone was following Stanley..." or "Stanley has never seen the office so brightly lit...", but for me it was when he started with the "All his co-.." and then said "Wait a minute, this in not the right office!"
I hope this helps (and I'm sorry if I quoted the Narrator wrongly) :)

It kinda creeps me out to know this.
Now I always look in through that glass to see someone walking, but haven't seen it yet.

It was even crazier for me, bc I was at the museum of the escape ending only minutes before, where I found one of the PCs, with a terminal that says, among other things: "2 Employees in Office" and then something along the lines of "Employee 247" (Stanley) and "Employee 1", if I deciphered it correctly.
