Is anyone REALLY going to legitly get "Go Outside."
It seems one person made a topic claiming they would, but I am just curious. I just did the changing my clock trick. I mean, who's really going to remember after five years to come back to this?

I will I guess, if I am still using steam 5 years after, this achievement is going to feel really good lol.

I'll try, but who knows what might happen in 5 years. That's a really long time. Heck, I haven't even been using Steam for 5 years!

Maybe it will be a rather bittersweet feeling. Since it would be a reminder that indeed 5 years of your life have passed...

Although, on the other hand, it would mean you're still alive after those 5 years, which is a good thing!

Oh lordy. I can see it now. In 5 yrs when we all rush to get the acheivement....

"how coming this game not werking on my windoes v24 -128 bit"

Just give the clock a tickle and have done with it.

ofc, you do realise you're *supposed* to do that..... or not. :)

Four years ago all "Last Played" entries in the cloud database were reset to NULL so the date stamp format could be standardized between the american and european cloud systems. Sorry for the inconvenence.

I plan on saving that achievement for last -- so if I manage to complete the speed run, can be bothered to do the Tuesday one, and legitimately get the Unachieveable one (I don't want to do the key bind, I want to get it within the game's parameters), then I will probably change the clock. If I stop caring about the other ones, stop playing the game, five years have passed, and I still haven't completed the other ones, I suppose I will get this one legitimately then!

The "Go Outside" achievment isn't real some people have already gotten the achievment

It's real. Most people, including myself, just set their system clocks up five years to "trick" the game into giving you the achievement.

Cheater. People like you should be VAC banned.

I might just wipe all unlocks of that achievement on October 17th, 2018.
Powpow Dec 7, 2013 @ 7:09am
...or wipe them now, and just disable/break the achievement untill that date?

The only way to 'disable' it would be to completely remove it, which means people wouldn't know it exists.

Nah just add a employee 407 poor performance review achievement for anyone that unlicks before that date. Spends to much time fiddling with their desk clock.

Yep, well.... as a "cheater" too, they can do that to me on Tuesday. My computer will be on all day.

Why you might ask? No, not the damn Tuesday achievement. No sirreee....

I gotta apply for 2 new security certificates and redo all my reminder events 'cos I forgot to set the clock back before shutting down.....

Yeah, dev, go on, laugh... :)
