AMD Catalyst 13.11 beta 9.4
Has anybody tried these drivers? or does anybody know if there is any improvements in performance? Metro: LL is pretty unplayable at the moment, waiting for a game or driver update.

Xorg 1.14 and Linux 3.12 support at least, which is a good news.

I use it but i didnt recognize performance differences between V6 and 9.4. Think its just against the blackscreens seen on the new R290 series cards and some small fixes like told above.
With 13.11 and 7970 Metro performs well for me using Kubuntu 13.10..
I dont have any problems with Metro: LL when using 9.4 with 7850.

ok thanks guy... i guess i will have to wait longer. I'm using AMD 13.11 beta 6 drivers on my 6970 and its unplayable when outdoors as the frame rate is so low.
Don't forget, the following forum still exists for voicing Linux driver issues:

AMD Developer Central
http://devgurus.amd.com/community/steam-linux

:)
Metro last light does not run ell, but its not taht bad for me.
The developers are talking with amd though.
Just started another thread in the general discussions without paying attention to other people's posts... I went to this version and saw a big improvement, but I haven't tried the driver since 13.4 or something. I run it on a laptop with an E-350 and Mint 13...
I've just installed them on Debian Wheezy, didn't think it would work as the last time I tried to update the driver's it failed big time with X crashing. Working fine so far. Only other thing is the audio is a bit crackly going into big picture mode.

There should be new BETA driver somewhere this week, so keep an eye on www.amd.com

Installed the new (non-beta?) catalyst 13.12 this morning, on Ubuntu 13.04. For me it's the most stable linux driver from AMD so far...
