Steam games all font except english are missing!!!

I downloaded Steam for Linux recently,using chinese language.At the begining,everthing is fine,font can normally display in the steam GUI.However,when i start enter into CS:S,words doesn't display and disappear,i tried to use english to start the game,it work fine but still cannot display any other language including chinese.My computer had already installed chinese font including some Windows ttf. Platform: Linux Mint 13 Maya . sorry for my bad english.
