CS:S Issues

I am generally impressed with performance and general look and feel. I am seeing the following, however:

1. Occasional hang/stutter for several seconds.
2. Occasional notice that I have been disconnected from the server. Sometimes during play and sometimes during map change.
3. If I am disconnected then attempting to reconnect will display a corrupt server password dialog. Attempting to enter the correct password does not connect, however.
4. Canceling out from this situation will give me a black screen (with or without fps text in LR corner). I may be able to alt-tab to the desktop where I can kill the hl_linux process and restart. On the other hand, sometimes I can't recover the desktop.

These issues have made for an interesting couple of hours of play. My teammates are joking about my bogus OS...
