RAM Usage on Linux and Other issues
I noticed that Steam uses about 500 MB of my resources on linux all the time. On Windows, it uses as much RAM as Linux does, but then settles to about 5 MB after the computer is fully booted. It never settles on Linux. Are we going to see the RAM usage go down?

OS: Xubuntu 12.04 64 Bit (Works like a champ, but not as good as it does on Unity. Interesting!)

I have ia32-libs installed, and everything works fine except for The Critter Chronicles demo as that crashes everytime I try to load it up. I'm pretty sure thats not Valve's fault. :)

RAM: 2 GB DDR2 (Upgrading to 4 GB)
GPU: 9500 GT 1 GB DDR2 (Upgrading to AMD 6570 Low Profile)
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 2.0 GHz 1 MB Cache (Upgrading to E8500 3.16GHz 6 MB Cache)
HDD: 160GB 5400RPM

I hope you get this,
Matt "lostcyclone" Clauzel

PS: Valve, I just want to say one thing, you guys are the biggest inspirations for me as a gamer and a person in general. You shown us that you need to put in every little piece of effort in everything. If it weren't for you guys, I would have alway given up. But since you are here, I am able to keep on trucking. I am able to get through my toughest times, and I am able to get so good at CSS that I get kicked from every server I go into.

All joking aside, you guys are the biggest inspiration on my life, and I thank you for what you have shown to all of us.

For Critter Chronicles try disabling Steam UI: Untab Settings -> IN-GAME -> Enable Steam Community In-Game.
