GitHub: Dungeons of dredmor crash using mousewheel without any spell
Just started the game, I had no spell, was in crafting window. Using mousewheel makes the game to crash.

Verified this doesn’t happen once the character has spells.

confirmed this happens to me too. Very annoying, since I keep trying to use the mousewheel to scroll lists.

The kernel and nvidia drivers I use are from the xorg-edgers' ppa. Tried downgrading kernel to 3.5.0-19, and nvidia drivers to 310.14, as found in the regular Ubuntu repositories. Still crashes. Also, I use Xubuntu.

I found this with the 32bit version of Dredmor. It only happens when you have no active item selected. The executable is unstripped so it's actually a null dereference of the curActiveItem symbol in playerinput.cpp:2409. Should be easy for the developer to fix.
Same here :(
