Notification if accepted into the Beta?

How will users know if they were part of the 1,000 who were invited into the beta? Will they be receiving emails?

Also, will it be clear to everyone who wasn't accepted that they weren't accepted?

I believe if accepted you will get both a instant (gift?) notification in Steam and an email.

Not sure about those who aren't accepted though. Probably just nothing :(

When they do public or even sub-public alphas or betas, they send an email saying "Signup for beta testing has been closed" or, you will get an email entailing your duties/what they are looking for, a private link and key to use it. That is how they have selected me in the past.

In steam under the discussion tab in this group, there is a link on the right side to the subforum "beta user test". It is empty, but you can subscribe.

Thank you. I hope the lucky ones get their invites even before next Monday. The "Linux Beta Access" Hub seems to have maxed out at around 13000 members. No big increases anymore.
