GL_KHR_debug extension (Opengl 4.3) funding
" Hi All,

In an effort to better understand if crowd sourcing Mesa development would work I have setup a small project on Indiegogo with the Goal of implementing the GL_KHR_debug extension (OpenGL 4.3). As a stretch goal I aiming to create a bit of a guide to get started with the basics of Mesa development based on my experience. Please feel free to ask me any questions, comment on my idea or in good old Phoronix fashion flame me for whatever your reasons my be.

To view my campaign just go to indiegogo and search for Mesa. "

Should we help him to get the money?

I bet that we all want that mesa project improves.

Looks interesting, but some info on what Mesa actually is and does would help.

Note that I am not the original developer who wants funding. I am not the best one to explain what mesa is what it does, but as far as I have understood Mesa3d is a Opengl library on Linux, WHICH IS OPEN SOURCE.

We are lacking in features. Somebody needs to implent them to us gamers to have more opengl features, when using open source mesa driver.

Mesa is a huge part of the open source graphics driver stack used by Linux and FreeBSD. It implements, most notably, OpenGL (and Direct3D), EGL, and OpenGLES.
