Guide for installing Steam Severs on Linux in the Making
i was wondering if any one was interested in writing or helping write one of the best guide's for Installing Steam Servers on Linux and setting them up the Guide needs to include how to Install Steamcmd servers add users write scripts commands maintaining/admining the server Security updating making directory's stoping DDOS Attacks iptables ssh and more we need an A to Z Guide for Linux Users i really like to use Debian 7 as a base do to it being super Stable user Frendly and a really good LTS we also need to include downloading maps and running multiple servers at once aka CS:S Tf2 P2 at the same time it will be interesting to do so heres a pastebin of junk http://pastebin.com/7Btmyz2h

What do you mean by Steam servers? Are you talking about Linux servers for Valve's Source games? If so, there's already a wealth of information just a quick Google search away. Valve have been providing Linux server binaries (and source for mods,) since the original Half-Life.

any older then steamcmd are out of date so are all the ones you linked and 99% of guides dont show the works users need all the info in one spot
