Its BIs answer for cheaters. They cant cheat on official if official is down. Perfect.

I can confirm there is a login issue on official DayZ servers...I sometimes get an 'unexpexted response from Database' error.
after retrying login two or three times I can finally join the server but it's an annoyance.
this doesn't happen on the Exp version of the game.

If so, then replace default files of the game with experimental ones. Rename what needs to be and try then.

I tried to join my preferred server 20+ times - to no avail. On some tries though, it looked like I was put into a queue, which is weird anyways cause it was a low pop server to begin with

If you keep trying it will eventually work, it's BS, official servers are having some weird problem, in my 2 years of play time I've never seen this error.

Considering all community server just works normally.

same here, can't join any official server. the only time i could is when i reinstalled the game and reset all the settings and then i could only join once before getting the database error. not doing that each time just to play.

There are a number of threads appearing recently about this - people who can't join official servers. I'll suggest to OrLok they are merged but also we try to get some answers from the team as it's holidays for most folk I guess, and a lot of us want to play, not swear and curse!!

PS - if it emerges that BI have no staff on because of holidays to address this... then that's not very good news is it.
