It's Early Access.
Just no one has coined the term yet.. doesn't mean it's not Early Access.
That is pretty dumb even for early access piggie nooblets.

Coz it's your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money and no one dares tell you what you can do with it.
Coz once you spent your money you will defend your purchase forever.
Coz it was NOT stupid to pay for unfinished things
But mostly Coz.. you will do it again without a second thought
Mainly Coz Early Access doesn't cheat people.. It's bad People that cheat people.
Only way to handle a Bad guy with Early Access is to get Good Guys with Early Access.
*Sad Game of Thrones music here*
Valve needs to give refunds on this scam, then sue the devs for false advertising.
Why is it fraud? Do you or do you not own a game called Towns? Does it or does it not conform to the original premise, approximately?
People really need to think before they post. Far too much hystiera and not enough rationality.
Early access, which is what this essentially is, is an inherently risky purchase; you are buying a game that may reach a finished state and it may be what you expect and it may even be good; you are most definately not buying a finished game and there is no guarantee that roadmaps will be stuck to. Anyone who doesn't understand this is simply naive. Its almost as bad as the people who take the promises of kickstarter projects at face value.
It's fraud because the unethical developer decided he didn't want to finish the game (which is a far cry from deciding it was finished) and then FRAUDULENTLY claimed the game was finished, even though it's exactly the same as the game he called ALPHA yesterday, thereby DEFRAUDING people into making a purchase.

I see you are another quality poster. Its no wonder that the Steam forums have such a high reputation.
In order for this to be fraud it would have to be proven, good luck with that. There is literally no chance that this would result in a succesful prosecution for fraud and its highly doubtful that Steam will give a refund because its Steam.
I'm not defending xavi's actions but a sense of perspective is a wonderful thing.
