How do I contact official CryEngine support?
My game, any game, I load in the sandbox has absolutely no collisions whatsoever. Aside from walking on the terrain, my character goes through trees, light poles, vehicles... and i can't shoot or iteract with anything, or any AI, at all.

I have searched all over the internet for hours on end, and no answers.

If somone knows what is wrong,...
...or knows how to contact CryDev support (i payed for this after all), that would be really helpful.

Thanks!!!

EDIT: Nevermind. Cancelled my subscription. Too much of a headache.

If you use Geom Entity it should fix it.

I have used Geometry Entity to place objects. I have used brushes to place objects. I have tried everything. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole SDK.

I could be wrong but users for cryengine EAS are not given tech support. Of course you can ask on the forums but there is no offical number or email for EaS users to get support

I posted on their tech forums, but the site seems kind of... dead...
I'm definetely not paying for this if they don't have tech support.

Just looked at the EULA. SEction 6 deals with support, the entire section is below

6. Service and Support

6.1. Crytek shall not be obliged to render any technical support (no telephone support, no training, no bug fixing).

6.2. Licensee may access public developer support forums and online support pages as they are made available to the public by Crytek in Crytek's sole discretion.

So no email support i quess

I've moved to UE4 because they have active support and have a github full of source code and it had microsoft visual studio 2013 built in

Yeah, its starting to look like I may need to make a change.
I got onto CryDev, the support forum, and the moderator on the forum is trying to help, but so far, no luck.

The best way to get in touch with the team for any issues you encounter is indeed the forum at crydev.net

1. Everything points to being an issue on your computer, not the engine. I have never encountered the issue before, nor have I heard someone talk about it before. Your hardware is most likely either outdated or damaged, most likely in the GPU area.

2. Awful support network? No. Maybe still poor communication, but they can't just give us technical support for free. We pay to build a game in their engine, not for them to hold our hand and instruct us. Unless of course, you want to pay for the full license. You can get email, telephone, and possibly on-site support. Just be ready to pay a little bit more.

Kid, I have a GTX780 from EVGA, an Intel i7, and 16GB of ram. IT IS NOT MY COMPUTER.

And I perfectly understand that its my job to learn the software. Its not my fault that all their documentation, tutorials and instructions are outdated.

Anyway, it doesn't matter, I cancelled my subscription, and won't be coming back anytime soon.

He is paying them, 10 dollars a month to be exact. every otehr engine (even unity free) has active forums and a community that gives answer pretty quick.

Love how osme people will defend crytek no matter what.
