Synergy
My friend and I want to play Half Life 2 together, I've got a windows machine while my friend has a Mac. first off, does the synergy mod work on macs? second, would we be able to play together, being that's it's cross-platform? Thanks for the help.

oh man that's hard to say, halflife 2 works because it goes into OpenGL for the API instead of DirectX. i don't think synergy will work on anything but windows :\
There could be a way online to figure it out and change something, but thats beyond me.

Synergy doesn't work on macs. I have one trust me.

You can always dual boot a Mac to run Windows... it comes bundled with this feature.
Anyway, I don't see any other way to easily do this..

i also want to play senergy with some group members, the servers have ben dry of people.
