This is incorrect. The price in iron bits does increase with usage. When this happens and by the amount I'm unsure of, but I know it increases.
My friend of 4,000 hours has characters that cost upwards of 10,000 iron bits to change a single skill point because he's done it so much. Even at these prices though, it's still not too bad unless you're like my friend who changes builds daily and it can cost him around 250,000 total iron bits to alter his skills.
Well, my friend is an extreme case of this. Like I said, he changes builds of a character multiple times, sometimes in the same day, and has had these characters for years now. So he's always asking me for iron bits to change his stupid skills around haha.
I've personally never had an issue because I don't alter my builds to the extent he does for the time period he has. I believe the cost to be a mute point really, almost no one is going to "need" to farm for iron bits to alter their builds.
Perhaps I'll do a test case at some point to see how many skill changes it would take to alter the amounts. I imagine it's fairly high though.
Current skill reimbursement cost stands at 15,000 bits per point.
