I got this recipe off Ellis in Devils Crossing but it is not registering in my blacksmiths inventory of what I can make. Any ideas guys?

Did you right-click on the blueprint/recipe to learn it?

Components are in the last of the categories presented.

It is near the end of the list. Yellowish color rather than orange(ish).

Hmm.. I can't get it to take. File verification might be an idea but I haven't done it in so long I cant remember how. No pathways are displayed in the options when I right click. Also none are at the top within the toolbar. Has the method changed? How do I execute it guys?

I tried it, right click on grimdawn in the library, properties - it will open a new window and there select local files.

If you still have trouble with verifying the integrity of the game cache, maybe a re-install of the game, or perhaps Steam too if you don't get the option.

Sounds like a file permissions or cloud saving sort of problem to me, like your blueprints file couldn't be saved properly, reverted to an old version, can't be accessed properly by the game, etc. It would seem strange if your AV doesn't interfere with other stuff when the game tries to save. Do you have cloud saving turned on (default option is 'yes')?

So dumb guys I verified my game cache got a patch from it. Then I realized I was clicking the recipe while still in the vendor screen. So I was just buying then selling it back to him lol. I got it sorted out now.
